Testimonial Utility Watch
Early last year Merseyside embarked on evaluating what savings could be made with regard to reducing calls and rental over the telecommunications spend. We had previously been contacted by Utility Watch who offered an independent procurement and brokerage consultancy service.
We were aware that without the services they offered the process would be a protracted and time consuming process and following a period of consultation and analysis of our current spend Utility Watch invited 3 firms to competitively tender for the calls and rental of our fixed line services.
Utility Watch presented us with the tender results and the decision was made by us as to which provider was awarded the business.
In September 2008 Utility Watch handled the migration over to the new provider and we have seen a vast improvement in service, with a designated Account Manager that provides the Trust with a service continuity that we rarely experienced with our previous provider (BT). We have seen our call and rental cost reduce and overall have been pleased with our new provider and the services provided by Utility Watch.
